The Chalet La Transhumance in the Alps

After the remarkable project of Cadaval & Sola-Morales in the Spanish Pyrenees, here is another unique vision. This is a contemporary mountain lodge proposed by Noah Duchaufour Lawrance.

This family-owned building located in Saint Martin de Belleville is apprehended, according to the French designer, as a true “domestic landscape including landforms that rise from the ground like small mountains.”

The layout is clean, cozy, and is heavily loaded with raw materials and is built around a ribbon of wood. As the central focus, it clearly poses as the flagship piece and the central location of the house.

Got something to say? Go for it!
