Coffee Table Tools: Thomas Merlin Design
Aug 21, 2012 // Furniture //

Presented last month at the Lyon Village creators, the Tools coffee table was presented. This is the brand’s first collaboration with an external designer entreautre in the person of Thomas Merlin.

Inspired by the world of hand tools, Table Tools provides, according to its creator, a true dialogue between solid wood and bent metal. Practically Tools mounts easily through the judicious use of three identical metal parts. Once assembled with the aid of nuts, the plate is created then fit over the feet of ash. The assembly is then held together by wooden pins, in the manner of a knife.

Room to room but no frills aesthetic design, currently being edited by entreautre. Made in France, fully recyclable, tools should be offered with a wide choice of colors for the tray.
