Nature of Material by Bakery Design Studio for Cappellini
Aug 23, 2012 // Furniture //

We discovered the stool collection from NOM—the prototype last year at the Designer’s Days at the remarkable exhibition Promise Design—dedicated to emerging designers in Israel. The collection has won since the Italian Cappellini who publish today.

The concept: a series of stackable furniture that combines folding origami inspired rights and natural curves. Each piece is crafted from aluminum foil pre-laser cut and folded. With a final folding of the feet, the entire structure is stretched, which has the effect of generating the final shape of the part.

A sculptural collection signed bu Ran Amitai & Gilli Kuchik Bakery Studio, based in Tel Aviv.
